Issue
Ettingshall South & Springvale – Both police and the local authority are receiving reports of speeding (Birmingham New Road and Black Country Route).
Action
The Neighbourhood team are liaising with, and supporting the force wide strategy with regards to this issue, known as Operation Hercules. The neighbourhood team are in receipt of weekly briefings to inform and plan their patrols in order to contribute to the management of this problematic behaviour. When able, the neighbourhood team deploy to gathering and obtain details and footage to support positive action.
Issue
Adelaide Park- Antisocial behaviour with youths hanging around the area on evenings and weekend.
Action
This open space continues to be a gathering point for local young people. Over the last few weeks, there have not been any incidents of note. However, the park will continue to be a place of focus, particularly as the nights get lighter and the weather improves.
Issue
Both police and the local authority have received reports of drug dealing and anti social behaviour.
Action
Over recent weeks there has been a reduction in drug related activity due to some key arrests and subsequent management of offenders in the local area. Officers will continue with patrols, using powers to stop and search when able.
