Community Priority - Drug related activity taking place in the Segundo Road/Walsall Road area of Delves.

Officers are now aware of this issue and have increased our patrols in this specific area to deter any further incidents and to positively engage with anyone we find in the area. We will also be carrying out reassurance visits over the next few weeks to local residents and businesses in the area to let them know we are aware of the issue raised and taking action to deal.

Working alongside our partners, Walsall council have installed CCTV camera's in this location to help police identify suspicious activity in this location.

Policing Priority - Tackling youth related violence in the Paddock and Delves area

Reducing youth related knife crime remains a priority across Delves Ward and the wider force area.

We continue to carry out targeted patrols in some of our vulnerable locations such as local schools and parks. We will continue to use our stop & search powers in an effort to remove weapons from our streets and keep our communities safe.

We recently (Feb) carried out a knife sweep in the Palfrey park area which we are pleased to report no knives or weapons were found.

We are now planning to visit more of our local schools to educated young people on the dangers of knife crime and how young people can stay safe.

The team continue to engage with young people in the location, regular patrols are conducted in Palfrey park and positive engagement with local residents.

Community agreed priority - ASB related issues relating to Fly-tipping in the Palfrey area.

We will now work with our local authority and community contacts to identify specific locations this is occurring. Our officers are aware of the issues having been raised and will now increase patrols in areas identified and will liaise with partners to tackle this issue.

Clean and Green were out on several all out days recently cleaning up in Palfrey and we had the trailer out on a road show day.
