Issue
Road safety and drug dealing in the community. As raised in Public Meetings and by Local Councillors.
Action
Your Policing Team recently carried out Operation Chino which was targeted activity with Partner Agencies and our Community, reacting to concerns raised by residents and businesses across Tilehill, Canley, Whoberley and Coundon. Joint operations ranging from providing crime prevention advice and considerate parking awareness to making 7 arrests and seizing tens of thousands of pounds worth of drugs and illegal goods. The Operation saw over 30 speeding motorists caught, 11 vehicles seized, 3 stolen vehicles recovered and a drugs house shut down with a closure order.
We thank local residents and Councillors who gave up their time to help us keep the community safe.
