ASB and reports of drug use at Silkworks

Patrols will continue at location, working with partners and residents to look at preventing issues , longer term. Several arrests have been made over recent months, team to visit at key times.
10/03 Officers ran a drop-in session with residents of the silk works this week. This was a chance for residents to get to know their local officers and raise any concerns they had. It was a well-attended event and lots of issues and ideas shared between residents and the police. We will hold more sessions in the up and coming months. These will be highlighted on the events tab

Made 4 proactive arrests
Worked in partnership with Principal Estates to identify the homeless people who are squatting there and their ASB

Retail theft at Gallagher Retail park.
Team will be conducting regular patrols around all shops in provide increased security for businesses and customers, ensuring a safe shopping experience for all.
To identify and apprehend individuals or groups responsible for thefts in the area.
Retailers and shoppers are encouraged to report suspicious behaviour and assist in the effort to maintain a secure environment .

Mixture of plain clothes and high visibility foot patrols have been conducted so far, and will continue to do so. Several arrests at key locations, such as Poundland and Pets at Home. Working towards Criminal Behaviour Orders and Banning notices to those repeat offenders .
Actions update
Foleshill NPT have arrested 3 persistent shoplifting offenders at the Gallagher Retail Park in the last month and received a positive feedback from stores that this along with regular patrols has significantly reducing the thefts with this retail park
In the last week local officers have conducted further patrols at the Gallagher, and have arrested several people for theft .

Repeat reports of individuals causing ASB at Falkener house, Stoney Stanton road, including communal locations within the building.

Foleshill NPT have conducted the following actions to target the ASB at Faulkner House;
Worked in partnership with Citizen Housing to identify the residents and their guests who are causing this ASB
Daily patrols of these premises when Foleshill NPT are on duty
Appointed a SPOC - PCSO Cummings 31494
Drugs warrant conducted at location at beginning of,month , we continue to work on intelligence from the community with regards to problem addresses. This can be sent anonymously through crimestoppers.
Local police are working with civil enforcement officers and will be issuing tickets to anyone caught drinking on the public road outside Falkener house, which is in breach of the Public Space Protection Order .

ASB and offences occurring in Edgewick Park, continuing as priority for the ward.

Foleshill NPT to conduct regular patrols in Edgewick Park to include stop checks with a view to identifying the main offenders.
Patrols continue to be conducted on a very regular basis, weapon sweeps, high visibility and plain clothes patrol in the park.
Officers are out on patrol today (26/03) with civil enforcement officers , and will be issuing PSPO notices to those breaching . Reminder that the drinking of alcohol in public spaces is prohibited in Edgwick park
A community walk is being arranged over the next month with local police , community leaders, councillors and members of the community will be invited , dates to follow.
