Issue
* Open space patrols in Sheldon country park to reduce Anti-social behaviour and off road activity
* Reducing Theft from shops and stores
* Educate school children about the risks of knife crime and exploitation
* Tackling Anti-social behaviour at locations where youths gather and potential ASB as a result
Action
* Off road colleagues attended the park and conducted a proactive off road policing operation to tackle Quad bikes and off road bikes more regular similar operations will be held including regular foot patrols by the PCSO’s on the team.
* Numerous successful proactive operations have been held in shops in Sheldon to identity repeat theft offenders, arresting and charging to reduce the amount of repeat offences and use of social media to highlight positive work
* Sheldon team will continue to develop intelligence around Cannabis grows, recently 3 grows have been identified, warrants obtained and successful seizure and dismantling and arrests of persons responsible.
* Sheldon has 2 secondary schools KESH and Cockshut Hill, working closely with the Schools intervention and prevention officer within the schools to educate the young community to reduce and eradicate weapons giving inputs on County lines and Anti-social behaviour.
