Issue
To tackle the issue of retail theft within our town centres and retail parks and to work with partner organisations to reduce the risk of re-offending. (This priority remains unchanged).
Action
Police have increased patrols in hotspot areas.
Investigations are being conducted into reported retail crime.
Positive action has and will continue to be taken regarding those identified as being responsible.
Preventative orders will be utilised for those who are persistent offenders.
Police are supporting local retailers to prevent further offending.

To Tackle the issue of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and low-level disorder within the Kirkley and Whitton wards.
Action
Police have increased patrols in hotspot areas.
Police are providing additional support to residents and businesses that have been targeted.
Police are working with partner organisations to tackle the issue.
Issue
To work with late night venues to minimise any violence related offences linked with late night drinking in the lead up to Christmas.
Action
Police will be conducting late night license premises checks in November and December. These checks are conducted throughout the year, but these will be intensified in the build up to Christmas.
Any reported violence related incidents will be investigated to identify who is responsible.
Positive action will be taken against anyone involved with any disorder.
