This neighbourhood is home to Hednesford Town Football club at Keys Park Stadium. Since the 1980s Heath Hayes has grown from a small village situated between Cannock and Norton Canes to a large residential area with a variety of new housing developments.

The area also contains the growing village of Wimblebury and Hawks Green both which have a mix of new residential and industrial development. In recent years the business community has also grown with the development of small industrial estates and office complexes.
