The area has a very strong sense of community. Along with residential properties, there are business premises, shops and two primary schools.
There are a significant number of new homes in the area and with plans to build more, the population of the community is set to grow as the regeneration programme continues.

Issue
Transport continues to concern communities and this could be to do with the area being a cut through to major routes such as Hanley, Fenton and Stoke.
Action
With support from our road crime team and road harm team, we are proactively targeting vehicles which are being driven in an anti-social manner, at speed or by individuals under the influence of substances in an effort to make our roads safer.
