Home to more than 20 rural villages, it also includes the picturesque and popular tourist areas of Dovedale and the Manifold Valley.

Issue
Rural crime, affecting the farming community in particular.
Action
Local policing have secured funding through the Community Safety Partnership, to support local farmers to forensically mark agricultural equipment to deter thieves and reduce rural crime in the area. This is to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Road safety and speeding.
Action
We are working with the Safer Roads Partnership and our roads policing unit to deploy in the area to support local policing colleagues and tackle concerns.
