Current Priorities
Issue
Tackling anti-social behaviour.
Action
Local officers are tackling anti-social behaviour by adopting a problem-solving approach to vulnerable locations in the Amington. We are working in collaboration with a range of partners to get to the root of problems and solve them for the long-term. This includes problems as identified from feedback from the community, relating to illegal motorcycles and drugs.
Issue
Preventing and disrupting drugs offences.
Action
Local officers are targeting drug dealers, including the harms associated with the exploitation of vulnerable people and county lines drug dealing. We are doing this by actively developing community intelligence and conducting overt and covert policing activity alongside specialist proactive units. Local officers are also working in partnership with other agencies to improve the support provided to tackle addiction in the community.
