Winshill and Stapenhill lie across the River Trent from Burton town centre. The large residential areas are linked to the town by the historic pedestrian only Ferry Bridge.

The hilly streets of Winshill provides scenic views of the surrounding Staffordshire countryside and towards the hills of Derbyshire's Peak District. There are also several primary schools and a high school in the area.

Current Priorities

Issue

Tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Action

We are aware that this type of issue tends to be exacerbated during the summer months and as such we have plans to focus on it over the next three months and increase our presence in those locations. We will do this by identifying repeat locations and where suitable creating problem solving records. This will naturally involve a partnership approach with the local authority and housing agencies to tackle the root causes of this type of concern.
