Drug Supply and Drug Use in Worksop

We are making some good progress in tackling drug use and supply in the Worksop area. Multiple Misuse of Drugs Act warrants have been executed, with drugs seized and removed from circulation and a number of suspects arrested, Further enforcement will continue throughout the next few months. Operation Legacy continues, with a number of individuals supported into rehabilitation, engagement with drugs services and accommodation.

ASB and Crime in Worksop Town Centre

Worksop town centre has seen a rise ASB and related crime, perpetrated by a core group of drug users and street drinkers. This crime includes drug use, alcohol consumption, public order offences such as swearing and threatening behaviour as well as criminal damage, drug dealing and violence. This is unacceptable. We have increased our policing presence in the town and made a number of arrests and will continue to work with partners in making Worksop a safe place to live work and visit.
