Rural Crime in East Bassetlaw

Rural Crime across rural Bassetlaw continues to be an issue, with devastating consequences for our farmers and landowners. Off road bikes and quads cause vast amounts of damage, closely linked to theft and other offending, including illegal poaching of our wildlife. We have a number of operations planned in tackling off road bikes and associated criminality. We are working closely with partners in crime prevention and ways in which we can further strengthen our ability in bringing offenders to justice.

Drug Supply and Drug Use in Worksop

We are making some good progress in tackling drug use and supply in the Worksop area. Multiple Misuse of Drugs Act warrants have been executed, with drugs seized and removed from circulation and a number of suspects arrested, Further enforcement will continue throughout the next few months. Operation Legacy continues, with a number of individuals supported into rehabilitation, engagement with drugs services and accommodation.
