Motorcycle disorder in Sunniside, Kibblesworth and Birkheads Nursery.
Action
The police drone has been used to identify key offenders, who have then been visited by Gateshead Council.
Officers are conducting high visibility patrols at key times and community engagement events are underway to promote ways to report criminal activity. This has shown a significant reduction in incidents of anti-social behaviour and disorder.

Action
Partnership engagement around Dunston with Gateshead Council and retail premises in the area to identify those responsible. Consultation with local community groups has been undertaken. High visibility patrols have been conducted at key times. Closure orders have been imposed on problematic premises.
Policing tools including dispersal notices and Community Protection Notices have resulted in reduced reports of shoplifting and increased community confidence.
Issue
Anti-social behaviour, serious violent crime around Racecourse Estate and Morris Street, Gateshead.
Action
Frequent ‘police and community together’ meetings with local community groups and Councillors have been held at the Teams Community Centre. High visibility patrols are conducted at key times and closure orders have been imposed on problematic premises. Dispersal notices and community protection notices have helped to disrupt offenders.
