Current Priorities

Issue

Burglary
Responding to incidents of burglary is a priority for the Metropolitan Police Service, and we recognise the impact that this crime can have on our communities. While the number of burglaries in our area continues to remain low, we are not prepared to become complacent and will continue to deliver crime prevention advice and raise awareness of this issue.

We have has no increase in our burglary figures, we will endeavour to reduce further by regular foot patrols in areas of concern.

Issue

Increase in crimes reported, identified area Meadway where year 7 children being targeted to and from school.

Our increased patrols have prompted a positive response from the local community.

Issue

We’ve had reports of antisocial behaviour occurring around the GLEBE GARDENS area.
Antisocial behaviour can be detrimental to the quality of life of the residents.

Action

High Visibility Patrols have proved effective with a reduction in reported ASB. A recent arrest of a well known individual has seen him jailed in the month of January. This will certainally have an impact in the fight to reduce ASB.
