Current Priorities

Issue

Reassurance patrols and crime prevention advice to prevent any Violent crime including Violence against Women and Girls, Robbery and gang related activity.

Action

Significant increased high visibility patrols. Significant monitoring of the types of crime. Safe to Talk venues to be established for Women and Girls to report in a Safe Space.

Issue

Targeted patrols along Snells Park and Joyce Avenue. These are the locations where we receive calls regarding burglaries and overall ASB. Willoughby Lane/Dysons Road and the off licence are included in these patrols and officers will record any suspicious behaviour along this route.

Action

We have reduced burglaries significantly in the last two weeks ( a reduction of 89%).

We are applying for closure notices for all stairwells. You will receivecommunication from Enfield Council regarding this for your consultation.

Issue

We are aware of the general affect of sex workers in the locality. We are working with our partners to improve the quality of life and how this activity affects our residents, in both terms of littering, ASB and other crime it generates

Action

Part of an ongoing initiative to improve and reduce the reoccurrence of this type of ASB. Significant engagement and increased patrols will be seen. We want you to feel safe and urge you to contact us about the opportunity to conduct Walk, Talk and Do about how we can make your environment feel safer.
