Violent against women and girls RELATED CRIMEs.
Action
We have been sharing crime prevention advice online and in person around keeping safe. We have conducted several walk and talk events in the Hayes area as well as feeding back to the council areas where street lighting etc.. needs to be improved. We have also been working with building developers to design out crime in new tower blocks being built in Hayes, We have also held several resident meetings to advise women on safety when entering tower blocks.
We have been working with the council to target harden known areas causing concern for females and improving lighting/security in those areas.
UPDATE: The team have Increased patrols in Lake Farm Country Park,
More late night patrols focused on bus stops in Station Road.
We have Arranged self-defence classes due to take place in November
1 male youth arrested with a knife, bailed awaiting CPS decision
2 males arrested with knives, both bailed pending further investigation.
Two visits to brothels under Operation Moontwist, safeguarding questions asked and reports put on for 3 women involved.

Issue
Targeting street drinking, begging and all ASB within the Ward in partnership with the Council’s Anti-social Behaviour Team.
Action
Frequent patrols of the canal area, drinks have been seized, 1 x stop and search which led to the issue of a Community Resolution for cannabis possession.
Males moved on in Botwell Leisure Centre for drinking alcohol, 5x stop searches for suspected cannabis use.

Issue
We will work to reduce shoplifting in Hayes town, working in partnership with local businesses and raising awareness in relation to reducing shoplifting and increasing crime prevention measures in and around local businesses.
Action
Frequent over patrols to deter crime and reassure shop staff/residents
Plain clothes patrols around shops being targeted
Leaflets given to shops with crime prevention advice and specific advice on buying stolen goods
Prolific shoplifter arrested for numerous offences in addition to a recall to prison warrant for his arrest.
2 prolific shoplifters arrested
CPWs and CPNs issued to several individuals known to be prolific shoplifters
Shoplifter arrested as wanted, issued CPW
4 shoplifters arrested by Team, all issued CPWs
2 shoplifters arrested and given CPWs
2 arrests for shoplifting and handling stolen goods, shoplifter charged.
Prolific shoplifter Jamal Bagal issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order by Uxbridge Mags, valid for 5 years and banning him from Hayes Town. (The team will utilise court orders for other offenders committing crime in Hayes Town)
