Issue
Violant Crime and Drugs - Wealdstone High Street has had a persistent problem with local crime groups and individuals committing violent crime and drug dealing.
Action
The specific object of this priority is to target and identify local criminal groups and individuals committing offences in Wealdstone.
This activity will be recorded over the period of 3 months and reviewed at the next ward panel meeting.
Issue
Anti-Social Behaviour - Wealdstone North Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to work with partner agencies and stakeholders to tackle anti-social behaviour across the ward, including ongoing issues with street drinking.
Action
Officers have conducted joint patrols with Harrow Council Environmental Officers whereby several individuals have been issued Fixed Penalty Notices for street drinking. In addition to this several Community protection warning notices have been administered explaining that repeat offending will eventually lead to arrest. The team continue to maintain a high visibility presence during school finishing times to safeguard children on their routes home working closely with schools officers and teachers. Those attempting to engage in low level drug dealing across the Town centre are being dealt with robustly and this will continue, working closely with partners, residents and stakeholders. Finally to identify properties that are causing a high volumes of anti-social behavior and apply for closure orders to stop further activity that affects Wealdstone residents.

Issue
This is a ward panel priority and follows a trend of this offence type being committed in the ward
The team will attend all allegations of theft of motor vehicle and Theft from motor vehicle as part of a follow up visit for any resident who has had an offence committed and resides within the ward.
Action
The team will complete door to door enquiries for each offence, complimenting investigations held by other officers.
The team will review CCTV, in an attempt to identify linked series offences.
Linked series offences will be allocated to one of the team to progress and deal with offenders.
Criminal behaviour orders will be requested for any linked series offences investigated by the team to introduce long term solutions.
This will be achieved through regular review of overnight crimes across the ward and patterns being identified where they exist.
Acquisitive crime has the ability to significantly impact significant cross sections of the community and often is attributable to a few offenders
