Issue

We will work with partners to reduce impact on local community as a result of vehicle nuisance at the location.

This will be achieved through a combination of enforcement against those engaging in behaviour, and prevention working will partners to design the issue out long term.

We will monitor the number of calls to service recieved to ascertain if our actions are effective.

This is currently creating the highest demand for police within the ward.

Action

We have met with key stakeholders with ASDA, along with representatives from the local authority and specialist officers from the Met.

Asda have agreed to make changes to the design and layout of the car park and access road

This will be a phased approach with initial works taking place on 15/12/24.

We have also been working with Asda to idenity thoise involved, and where possible to take appropriate enforcemnt or preventative action.

We have also tasked officers to the location to deter meets from taking place.

Issue

We will maintain our visibility in the area, and will work at increasing our engagement with local residents.

This will be achieved through regular patrols, and the panning of community engagement events in the area.

This is an area which has previously felt isolated, and neglected by police.

We will measure this through number of hours spent on patrol, and number of attendees at engagement events.
