Hosting coffee mornings in cafes and hotels, as well as conducting "walk and talks" in Valentines Park, are part of our initiative.
Additionally, we will be patrolling the transport hub by York Road during peak hours to provide crime prevention measures and reassurance to the public.

High-visibility patrols are conducted on foot in high-crime areas identified by residents as unsafe, distributing crime prevention tips and contact information through door-to-door outreach.
Additionally, social media is utilized to inform residents about the activities of the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and any upcoming events, including areas with high pedestrian traffic.

Target areas of high motor vehicle crime in Valentines Ward.

Increased patrols will be deployed in regions with high rates of theft from motor vehicles. A study will be carried out to track the locations and times of these incidents, in order to introduce focused patrols. Crime prevention leaflets will be distributed directly to households and shared on social media platforms to promote awareness.
