Current Priorities
Issue
Anti-social behaviour including damage and drug use in the area of Gilmorton Avenue.
Action
We have increased our patrols in these areas and our PCSOs have carried out some engagement events in the area. A group of people using off-road motorcycles were stopped and dealt with and since then we haven't had any further reports regarding that matter.
We have had some further reports of ASB and damage in the area and so this priority will continue into the January to March period.
Issue
Develop drug intelligence in this area, which will hopefully allow us to take enforcement action.
Action
We continue to develop drug intelligence and have carried out enforcement action, for example, we have cleared out multiple addresses where cannabis was being grown. Please continue to pass intelligence to us. You can do this anonymously through Crimestoppers - www.crimestoppers-uk.org
Issue
We want to tackle anti-social behaviour, including damage and rowdy behaviour in the area Dragonfly Walk.
Action
We recently supported the land owners when they issued a banning notice to someone that was causing some problems and we are continuing to have a presence in the area. We conducted a patch walk with land owners and engagement events for the public to come and talk to us. The issue seems to have migrated slightly to Disraeli Street and so our focus has now shifted there.
