Issue

Anti-Social Behaviour:
Through our consultation with you we have identified ASB as being a continuing priority to the people of Oakham & Barleythorpe. Anti-Social Behaviour will be resolved with high visibility patrols and community engagement to identify offenders within local hotspot areas.

Action

This past quarter, to tackle the ASB issue you have previously told us about, we have been patrolling Oakham Town Centre, Cutts Close park, Derwent Drive, Welland Way park and The Sidings.

Issue

Drugs:
Through out consultation with you we have identified that the selling and use of drugs as being a priority of the people of Oakham & Barleythorpe want us to address through the next quarter.

Intelligence development is in progress to ensure areas where drug use or supply is being conducted are being targeted to ensure offenders are being dealt with.

Action

During the first quarter we have been patrolling areas where drug activity has been brought to our attention, as well as working with partners to ensure an improvement and deterrent is present.

Issue

Road Safety:
Through our consultation with you we have identified Road Safety as being a priority to the people of Oakham & Barleythorpe.

A high visibility policing will be present within affected areas. Speed Gun checks will be completed regularly to ensure offending is dealt with in a timely manner and robust way. We will continue to work with partner agencies, such a the road Safety Partnership mobile speed camera van.

Action

This past quarter we have been patrolling areas where you have told us vehicle safety is a concern. Vehicles have been stopped and drivers spoken to and dealt with accordingly for all manner of Road Safety infringements.
