Issue

significant rise in ASB related incidents and damage to house in and around the park area. issues occur at weekends and late at night when youths congregate and drink

Action

What we are going to do:
Work with partnering agencies to tackle reported Anti Social Behaviour in the villages and local parks. Those identified will be given warnings about their behaviour using an incremental approach.
Patrols in the area of Sileby park has stopped ASB in relation to youths gathering on local park and ASB issues that have occurred as a result of the youths gathering.

increase in Patrols in the evening and deployment of ASB car to target the youths involved.
warning letters have been issues to 4 offenders that have been involved in minor ASB / criminal damage.

Issue

Drug dealing and Drug use in the Sileby area in and around the park area.

Action

What we are going to do:
Targeted patrols to identify drug dealing & drug users in key locations, disrupt them, work with local residents to gather intelligence to assist with tackling the problem.

intel gathering with a view of conducting drugs warrants and regular patrols within key locations such as the memorial park to target offenders.

identified male responsible for drug dealing on the park using a e-bike and gathered lots of intelligence around this. patrols will continue in the area to further develop intelligence

Issue

a slight rise in burglary offences recently whereby car keys and cars have been stolen.

Action

increase and targeted patrols in late evening and throughout the night by the beat team and response officers.
increase of persons reporting and gathering of intelligence to identify offenders.

increase awareness to residents via community engagement and beat surgeries and news letters making full use of neighborhood link.

Burglaries are slightly down to to the increased patrols and this will continue in the weeks leading up to Christmas to prevent offending
