The beat team aim to tackle different elements of ASB in Mountsorrel

During the month of March 2025, the Beat Team have patrolled the ASB hotspot areas pointed out to us by local residents and the Parish council such as, Halstead Road, Castle Park and Gilliver Drive in a marked vehicle. Since patrolling Gilliver Drive we have not had any reports for a number of months. We have worked to resolve any reports that have been reported. This month we worked closely with a housing provider to resolve a parking issue and there have been no further reports since the work has been undertaken.

The beat team aim to tackle speeding in Mountsorrel

Wednesday 19th March 2025 on Leicester Road, Mountsorrel. There was one vehicle that was issued with a speeding ticket by Officers. The results are, 20-25 mph: 30 vehicles, 25-30 mph: 46 vehicles, 30-35 mph: 17 vehicles, 30-35 mph: 0 vehicles, 40-45 mph: 1 vehicle. We would like to hear about new locations where residents feel speeding is an issue so please get in touch.

Burglaries in and around mountsorrel

Burglary patrols are happening daily. Local beat officers and response officers across Charnwood NPA at all times of the day and night in marked police vehicles to deter the burglaries from happening.
