Youths congregating, loud music playing and general anti-social behaviour has been highlighted in the Braunstone town area.

We've had a meeting with East Midlands Housing in relation to safeguarding and vulnerability concerns linked with ASB on Shakespeare Close. We are now looking into a Partial Closure Order for an address. This would mean that those causing the issues could be arrested for attending the location.

A CPW (Community Protection Warning) was issued on Rosamund Avenue. We are working with Blaby District Council's ASB team and we will continue to monitor the situation and upgrade the warning to a Notice if required whereby significant fines may result if the behaviour continues. We are also looking into finding support for the perpetrators to try and improve the chances of the problem being resolved.

We also visited an address on Braunstone Close and gave the occupants words of advice in relation to their behaviour in the area.

Reports of parking obstructions have been a focus from the public and as such we will endeavour to attend reports of criminal parking.

We will endeavour to deal with any incident of parking which is criminal this can include obstruction of the highway and vehicles parked in dangerous positions.
Enforcement has also taken place having removed an obstructing vehicle outside the Civic Centre.

Persons driving dangerously or in an anti-social manner. This can include reckless, careless and inconsiderate driving including speeding and refusal to obey street signage.

Speeding at car meets across the force area has prompted complaints and some driver behaviour is proving extremely dangerous putting lives at risk. Officers have also sent warning letters to offending motorists and seized vehicles. We would also ask members of the public to keep reporting offences so we can continue to take action.
