General ASB - results from survey conducted via Neighbourhood Link, indicate that this is a priority concern on the area. Incidents of criminal damage and arson around the Netherhall area, focusing on the parks and open spaces and congregation points at Netherhall Neighbourhood Centre where there have been instances of damage and arson.

Action

Police officers and Police Community Support Officer’s (PCSO) are addressing this with a multi-agency approach with crime prevention advice being given to the premises officer at Netherhall Neighbourhood Centre. Offenders have been identified and are being dealt with appropriately by officers.

We will continue to patrol the area and wider beat.

Issue

Action

The team continue to address your concerns regarding road safety in the local area through a combination or partnership working and enforcement.
By working in conjunction with partner agencies and listening to the local community we are able to identify high-risk areas and develop longer-term solutions through traffic calming measures and more appropriate road signage.
Beat officers have been and will continue to provide patrols at local schools at key times to improve the safety of pupils, parents and road users.
In the month of October, the beat will be working with the wider East Leicester Team to tackle road safety concerns as part of OP Syphon addressing issues including speeding, dangerous parking, seatbelt usage and more.
Please contact the team if you have any concerns.
