Reduction of crime and ASB in the Grimsby Town Centre

We are aware of the impact this issue causes visitors, business, and staff within the town centre. There are a number of operations within the area which include the use of the drug dog as well as multi agency days of action within the centre.

We are aware of what the impact of those dealing and taking drugs in a particular area can have on residents and local businesses.
Various initiatives are ongoing to address these issues. Officers working within the area are building intelligence, which will ultimately lead to warrants being applied for.

Cycle thefts

There have been a number of reports of cycle thefts from outside of Gym Group at the Victoria Retail Park on Victoria Street. High visibility and plain clothes patrols are taking place to both prevent crime, and to catch those responsible for these thefts.
Local officers will be carrying out a bike marking event outside the gym on a date TBA.
