Traffic related offences within the ward area, prioritizing speeding & weight restriction offences.

Speed awareness checks have been complete on the following villages:
- Brigg
- Bonby
- Barnetby-Le-Wold
- Wrawby
- South Ferriby
- Broughton
- Scawby
With 5x drivers been dealt with by way of traffic offence reports.

Contravening of the local traffic order checks for HGVs 7.5t has been carried out in Broughton and Elsham, with 7x Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) issued throughout the last 2 months.

Hi-viz patrols have taken place within the ward areas, actively looking for travelling criminality, while supporting Rural Task Force (RTF), utilising our latest intel.

Intelligence led vehicle stops have resulted in several vehicles being stopped and the drivers dealt with for numerous traffic offences.

A joint-agency; Vehicle Stop&; day was carried out on 31/03/2025, where 18x vehicles were stopped, 6x TOR’s issued and 1x driver arrested for S5A Road traffic act.

Drug intelligence and disruption in the ward areas.

Raised through NAT and members of the public concerns through the relevant key individual network.

Brigg NPT support the Night-time economy (NTE) in Brigg on Friday and Saturday nights. The aim is to disrupt crime, ASB, and drug use in the local Public Houses.

NPT officers are aware of a core group of males in Brigg who are active in using and distributing drugs. We are working alongside Patrol Officers to build an intelligence picture, to allow these males to be stopped and searched.

Brigg NPT will monitor any intelligence and apply for Misuse of Drugs Act warrants, if applicable.
