Current Priorities
Issue
Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)
Following a priority setting forum in March 2024, police will continue to conduct high visibility patrols in the town centre focusing on - local policing operations, crime reduction initiatives, illegal use of e-scooters and other activity to tackle nuisance ASB and purse-dipping offences.
We are taking a problem solving approach to identified and non-identified individuals who reduce the quality of life and enjoyment of visitors, residents and businesses.
