Your local officers will be conducting speed enforcement in the area and dealing with motorists who exceed the limit under Operation Classify. They will also be seizing uninsured vehicles and arresting anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are also working with local schools to make the roads safer around schools.

Neighbourhood Officers are working with stores and retail park owners to improve security measures to deter offending. Officers are also regularly patrolling the area to provide reassurance to staff and customers. Criminal behaviour orders are being sought on conviction of repeat offenders which results in extended custodial sentences.

Drug dealing occurring in the back streets off Bury Road and within housing estates.

Neighbourhood Officers are working with our road policing unit to target the use of offenders using e-bikes. They are also working with the local authority to improve lighting at repeat locations.
