Anti Social Behaviour

Your local neighbourhood team will be targeting reports of ASB across the town centre. There are dedicated officers for this during peak times on evenings and weekends. We will continue to remain visible in this area whilst working alongside our partners to ensure referrals and diversionary work is completed with these individuals at an early stage.

Retail Crime

Your local neighbourhood officers will be targeting shoplifting offences and other retail crime in the town centre through high visibility policing. We will prioritise offences against retail workers and take action against offenders. We will be working closely with the Central Bolton Partnership to provide crime prevention advice and obtain Criminal Behaviour Orders for prolific offenders - giving local retailers and police more robust powers to tackle shoplifting.

Begging

Your local neighbourhood officers will be working together to try and prevent ongoing begging. They will be looking to take positive action around anyone who is causing a nuisance or repeatedly offending in the area, and signposting to our partner agencies where relevant welfare needs require addressing.
