Current Priorities

Issue

The Droylsden East Neighbourhood Policing Team is tackling drug-related activity and homelessness, particularly around Trent Walk. These issues have been identified as significant concerns for the community, and the team is working closely with partner agencies to provide support and find long-term solutions. Officers are conducting regular patrols and engaging with local residents to address these challenges.

In addition to these efforts, the team is addressing the illegal use of off-road bikes, especially near Werneth Low Golf Course. The team is also targeting prolific shoplifters and antisocial behaviour across the ward. By working together with the community and local businesses, the team aims to create a safer and more secure environment for all residents. The team encourages the public to report any incidents or concerns to help maintain the safety of Droylsden East.
