Action

Two Closure Order has already been issued on local addresses, which protects the residents, to stop people attending their address and also prevents the community of the ASB at the address. This work continues... no breaches have been reported, but this continues to be monitored and visited by local Police.

Action

Operations have been taking place, where different tactics have been used to identify those on illegal e bikes and scooters, gathering intelligence. Warrants have taken place , linked to those using the Bikes for drug dealing, carrying out ASB and stealing the bikes to re-sell. This work continues as intelligence is gathered. UPDATE one has been arrested for Theft of Bicycle and in a search of home address, Electric Bicycle's were found. Work continues to Identify the owner and Community Alert and Social Media campaign has gone out.

Issue

The team are focussing on crime prevention for bicycle theft and Burglaries in the area

Action

Bike Marking Extravaganzas took place in January, to encourage the Community to protect their bikes, so we can identify them if taken. Burglaries, especially theft of Bicycles from Garages has seen a significant increase over the last month and PCSOs continue to carry out local reassurance patrols, carry out House to House enquiries for any evidence opportunities. Community Alerts are being sent out to warn the community when these crimes occur. We recommend that the Community Signs up to the Community Alert Scheme, to be up to date of what is happening in their area. Work behind the scenes continues to deter and solve Acquisitive crime in the area
