It is covered by the Chesterfield South Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and belongs to the Chesterfield Local Policing Unit.
Hasland and St Leonard's comprises of the following areas: Hasland, Hady, Spital and part of Rother. Hasland is a village location and provides its own parade of shops, mostly owned and run by local residents.

1.Drug related ASB in the Hasland area.
2.Youth ASB on Eastwood Park.
Action
1.The Safer Neighbourhood Team are continuing to develop and act on intelligence provided to us in relation to Drug related issues in a small section of the Hasland area. We will utilise Plain clothed patrol operations to identify dealers, carrying out stop searches wherever proportionate to do so and we will build intelligence which allows us to carry out further drugs warrants in the area.
2.The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be patrolling this area at key times and will be joined by Council Enforcement Officers. We hope to be able to divert youths involved in ASB into more productive activities. We will utilise ASB legislation such as Community protection Warnings for those who continue to cause a nuisance in the Eastwood Park area.
