Holmewood is an adjacent but distinct settlement situated close to Junction 29 of the M1 motorway. The proximity to the motorway has led to substantial industrial and distribution development on industrial estates adjacent to Holmewood.
Grassmoor is a small village, approximately three miles to the south of Chesterfield, while Calow and Arkwright (often referred to as Arkwright Town despite its non-town status) are also small villages in the vacinity.

2. Parking?. Key locations are: outside Heath primary school 3pm, Arkwright town grass verges, Arkwright Primary school 3pm?
3. ASB. Hotspots include: Holmewood behind the library, Holmewood Masefield Park. Holmewood working mens club (abandoned building), Arkwright community centre.?
Action
1. Occasional Speedchecks in key problem areas to better educate drivers, Communicate with established Speedwatch groups in the area to support their efforts. Assist with the establishment of new CSW groups. ??
2. Utilisation of Parking issue notices for parking offences.?
3. High visibility mobile patrols in ASB hotspot areas. Engagement with youth groups associating in these areas. Utilisation of 165A power of seizure for E-scooter?
