It belongs to the North East Local Policing Unit.
The area consists of large expanses of rural landscape with a number of small villages and hamlets. Agriculture and leisure form the main industry.

Action
Results from Derbyshire Alert/Public engagement and concerns from partner agencies. Ongoing activities in relation to this priority being as follows, speed checks, CSW, enforcement, engagement events with school to raise awareness . Therse is happening in all the above areas, also parking enforcement checks both Police and NEDDC Ongoing work with DCC and CREST about area of road outside Penny aches school Holmesfield
