The local Community Policing team target the supply and use of drugs in Luton Town Centre through specific enforcement operations such as Operation METAL, providing regular high visibility patrols and through the use of targeted intelligence.

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd December 2024 Joint operation in Luton Town Centre with CCTV and Mall security.

S/S – 7 – 3 Positive Drugs Cannabis
1x E-scooter seized, driver reported for no insurance, driving not in accordance.
Early NTE Patrols – No issues

Arrests – 3, 1 Vol interview.
S/S – 7 – 3 Positive Drugs Cannabis
