Operated by: Avon and Somerset Constabulary
Neighbourhood Policing Team for Kingsweston.
Current Priorities
Issue
Routinely doing welfare checks on individuals that are vulnerable.
Action
We are continuously working with other agencies such as Bristol City Council, to safeguard the residents of Kingsweston.
If you are concerned about someone’s welfare please report it to relevant agencies such as social services or the police.
Issue
We have had a number of reports regarding anti-social behaviour (ASB) involving youths in the area. This is causing a significant effect on local residents and businesses.
Our aims are to identify those involved, prevent further ASB and take further action where appropriate.
Action
In order to curb anti-social behaviour, the neighbourhood team are visiting local clubs to engage with the youths.
Please let us know through the website if you would like the team to visit your club.
Issue
We are seeing an increase in parking issues in the area. Especially with vehicles blocking pavements and dropped curbs.
By parking your vehicle on the pavement you are forcing the elderly, children and people with prams and wheelchairs into the road and you are putting them at risk of being hit by another vehicle.
Action
We have been giving out tickets on Middleton Road for vans that were blocking pavement and footpath.
Please get into contact via 101 or online contact form if you would like to report parking issues in your area.
Issue
Throughout Bristol there are continuous reports of potential locations for the cultivation, preparation and dealing of Controlled Drugs.
The area of Kingsweston is no different and the Neighbourhood Policing Team work in partnership with other agencies and the community in order to combat and attempt to shut down such premises.
